Urgent need for System Administrator in Hungry Bird it Consulting Services at Coimbatore
Job Description:
- We are looking for a talented, diligent system administrator to maintain and administer our company’s networked system of computers. The system administrator’s responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, as well as ensuring that all computing operations run with optimal performance and security.
- To be successful as a system administrator, you should have an excellent ability to solve problems using your in-depth understanding of information systems and computing solutions. The best system administrator will also be a team player, willing to handle all support requests with courtesy and professionalism
Requirements:
- Participate in capacity plan discussion and recommend organization/industry standards to size servers hardware during project planning phase.
- Deploy Linux servers on physical and virtual hardware, configure services, help application team to deploy business sensitive codes, adjust users settings and access rights etc as per project and business requirement.
- Monitor the infrastructure for resource utilization, alerts, performance etc.
- co-ordinate with Vendors for regular infrastructure health checks, ensure to implement the recommended action plans and best practices to optimize the environment
- Provide first tier response, analysis and resolution planning for detected issues and seeks appropriate resolution of issues.
- Knowledge of Virtualization and Storage
- Conduct timely and effective root cause analysis.
- Patch and security configuration compliance (includes virus detection for server and client).
- General user administration.
