Job Description:
* To provide support for implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems.
* They oversee and resolve problems of the server, network devices, storage, and client devices.
* Support IT systems of all end users on a daily basis by monitoring, and troubleshooting.
* These engineers support technologies, such as Active Directory, DFS, Terminal Servers, Hyper V, , System Center Operations Manager, and file server migrations.
Requirements:
* ME/M.Tech(Communication & Networking, CSE, EEE, Electrical, ECE, IT, Network Engineering).
* Diploma(CSE, EEE, Electrical, ECE, EIE, IT), BE/B.Tech(CSE, EEE, ECE, IT, Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation).
* Basic knowledge on Hardware of Rack Server, Storage, Switches.
* Basic management of standard Linux services like SSH, SFTP, FTP, http, samba, NFS.
Responsibilities:
* Storage engineers plan and manage the installation, configuration, and tuning of SAN and storage hardware and software.
* They leverage market technologies associated with SAN vendor product enhancements and product roadmaps.
* They develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure consistent storage provisioning, and uptime, alongside regulatory compliance and data protection.
* They manage and provide current disk and tape storage usage statistics and provide future projected growth estimates.
